Jwbnb Covid-19 Emergency Policy

Our COVID-19 emergency policy addresses:

  • Flexible Credits: We are encouraging property or activity hosts to offer a full credit for the amount you already paid if you are outside of your cancellation window. The value of the credit can be applied to future bookings at that property.
  • Encouraging refunds: We invite property or activity hosts to issue a partial refund where a flexible credit should not be feasible. Please contact the property or activity host directly to discuss cancellation and refund options as they are not required to provide a refund beyond the terms of the rental agreement.
  • Refund of the Traveler Service Fee: We are refunding the Traveler Service Fee on qualified cancellations.

Read and follow all current updates published on the official www.JW.org website.

What should I do before booking?

Be sure to check out for potential travel restrictions before booking and traveling to an accommodation. Touristic travel might not be allowed, as travel may only be permitted for certain purposes. To help you on your way, we included publicly available links to government websites for several countries around the world. However, not all countries are covered below. A country's absence from the overview does not mean it hasn't set any travel restrictions. We recommend searching for information on any country you're planning to visit. JWguest is not responsible for the content of the public websites linked below. Government responses continue to evolve, so check for updates often and count on your national and local authorities for the most current instructions.

Why doesn't COVID-19 impact the general policy of JWguest.com?

Cancellations due to the coronavirus depend on several factors, including where you're traveling to, your country of origin, arrival date, and reason for traveling. Individual reservation policies are set by the host of the property you booked. As a result, it wouldn't be appropriate to make universal changes to the Jwbnb policy.

What can I do if my reservation is affected by the coronavirus (COVID-19)?

We’re closely monitoring official guidance from local governments and health authorities as well as listening to feedback from our travelers, property owners, and property managers.

What can I do after I book?

Moving your booking to a future date depends on the reservation's policies. Sign in using either your JWguest.com account or confirmation number, select the booking you want to change, check the cancellation policy, and you’ll see what options are available.

You can also contact the host of the property to ask for a change of date.

How can I get help with an existing reservation on Jwbnb.com?

We understand you may want to change your plans due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) and its health implications. For further support, sign in to your JWguest.com account and visit our Customer Service Help Center.

How do I cancel my booking in this situation?

For the best support, sign in to your Jwbnb.com account.

  • If your booking is no longer free to cancel or non-refundable, you may incur a cancellation fee. Hosts of properties can also choose to change reservation dates at no extra cost, so contact the host to see if this is possible.
  • If your reservation was affected by coronavirus-related events (e.g. border closures or travel limitations placed by local authorities), but is no longer free to cancel or non-refundable, sign in and check your options for managing your reservation.

If our emergency policy does not cover your booking, you have these options:

  • Reschedule your trip: Ask the property or activity host to reschedule your trip to another date. They can tell you when the property is available.
  • Cancel your booking: If you need to cancel, you may be eligible for a refund per the cancellation policy. We recommend reviewing the cancellation policy carefully before canceling your booking.

Will I get charged additionally if I move my reservation to a future date?

If you change your dates and the host has availability, there may be a difference in price (higher or lower), which could be due to the season or different rates for weekdays versus weekends. If rates are higher, you'll have to pay the difference between the original price and the one for your new dates. If they're lower, the price difference will be reflected in your booking.

Can I pass my reservation on to someone else?

Contact the host directly if you want to transfer your reservation to someone else. Remember that our hosts accept Jehovah's Witnesses as guests only. Each host has their own policies for this type of change to a reservation and can best inform you about them.

Where can I find out more information regarding travel or health advisories?

We strongly recommend that all travelers, hosts, and property managers follow health and safety information from health officials as well as travel advisories from local authorities. For your convenience, we have provided a list of resources below. If you are a host or property manager, please also see how the coronavirus impacts your rental.
